I'm trying to find a way to get my 240 Sundancer to turn sharper when
leaving the slip. Would lowering one trim tab have any affect on
turning while moving at slow speeds? Any other suggestions for making
it manuever better at docking speeds?

Fwiw ... I find my current Volvo Penta outdrive does not turn nearly
as sharply at low speed as did my old Mercruiser. My solution is a
quick throttle up to throw the back end around ... not particulary
elegant but ...

I have not tried it, however I doubt lowering one tab would have any appreciable effect.

Two hints in confined quarters:
Use lots of neutral so you keep you speed down,
Turn the wheel and then go into gear.

If you could describe your dock area and what difficulties you are experiencing, I may be able to offer some suggestions.

Bowgus has the right idea, a short burst of throttle can sometimes help.
