I really hate to be on topic.....but Aluminium boating was my dream
until about ten years ago. I had a friend that owned a nice 36 that was
built in Virginia (I think) and we went out for the week-end.
This is a very strong material but it's noisy under way and the other
factor I found was that it is very Lively. When you board it and when
the guests move around the deck while at anchor.
Seems stable under power otherwise.
They offer very good value for the buck but have their own following for
sure.
