Hi there. I have recently bought a small - 14 foot boat. It has a trailer
and I have a Mariner 8hp and a Seagull Century outboard motors. Can anyone
suggest suitable insurance companies for this outfit?
Thanks

If you just want the minimum cover without having to fill out the life
history of your boat or have it surveyed etc etc then I would say to give
"The basic boat liability company" a ring on 08707 8700300 cover from £63
And open a savings account for any Mariner engine parts you may need in the
future Surprised)

Cheers
Gary

For that size of a boat, you might be able to add it to your house
insurance policy.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. I'll pursue these lines of enquiries.

I have found that Porthcawl Marine Insurance do great deals for leisure
users... I get £ million water ski (or any towed) cover for free on my
policy - which was a very high extra elsewhere.

Try Steve Knipe on .... steve.DeleteThis@porthcawl-insurance.co.uk
