You can recognize the plant as it has a very thick trunk, about 12" in diameter with no bark and they grow on the side of the ICW. Apparently preferring water with a depth of about 6 to 8 feet. They have either green or red flowers that are either square or triangular in shape and often numbered. The fruit are usually about 16" square with a 12 watt capability. Occasionally you don't have to pick them as after a storm they will wash up on shore, trunk and all. I had to answer this question for myself in order to figure a way to keep 8 golf cart batteries charged down at our duck camp. Depending on how many watts you need, I don't think you can beat Northern tool. The 15 watt panel is the best deal in dollars per watt for a new panel.
