Hello,
I have a thule roof rack.
If I have the rack on and I open the sunroof the noise levels are quite
high. So, I'd like to take it off and put it back on only when I take the
boat out.
Does frequently taking it off and putting it back on damage the screws? Or
will I be ok putting the roofrack on and off say fortnightly?
Raj

Mine has been coming off and on at frequent intervals for around six years and
shows no signs of damage as a result.

I have the Saris system, which I honestly think is noisier than those
small-round-bar systems. However, it comes off incredibly easily. Might
consider one. I found mine for ridiculously cheap, used.
