Hello to all!!
I haven't posted here in a long time. I used to be a regular about 10
years ago when I had a 96 XP and was continuously modifying it. Founds
tons of help here and great suggestions. I remember Bill O'Neal used to
post here a lot, is he still around? Anyway, I was driving past a
couple of 96 XPs on my way home from work today and it made me remember
the RSJ JetFest. I think it was in 1999, if memory serves me correctly.
Down on Lake Lanier in GA. That was crazy fun!! Just wanted to see if
anybody from way back when is still here.
Regards,
Terry

I know Bill O'Neal posts regularly at www.pwctoday.com. In fact I just
read one of his posts last night there. >> Stay informed about: Anybody remember JetFest at Lake Lanier? |

Not only does he post, he's a moderator, I think of the Seadoo
sub-forum. Great web site!

There is hardly anyone or anything left here. A number of along
gathering spots and forums have come along, all similar and worth a
visit, IMO pwctoday is the best overall, most comprehensive and
busiest.

Some of us are still here... and PWCTODAY is owned and operated by SBT. You
either kiss the ass of SBT or get banned.
Not my cup of tea.

I don't know, I've never done either in years of posting (kissed the
ass of SBT or gotten banned).

Okay but it's still a great site in a lot of people's opinions, and
anyone looking for a huge quantity of very diverse pwc talk and
information, wondering whatever happened to rsjs and where is everybody
and where can they get information, should be directed over there and
check it out!

Same deal at sea-doo.net.
Does Brian still run around threads telling people the solution to
everything is an SBT motor?
Bill O' is a good guy but he appears co-opted. My last order to Watercraft
Magic had every part possible substituted with SBT house brand stuff.

That's your opinion Rich, and I respect it. You've been doing this a while,
and have owned many watercraft.
However, if your opinion is that you do not PREFER SBT engines, then you are
not allowed to talk about it without proof that passes the SBT directive.
Don't believe me??? Maybe you should spend a few minutes reading the rules
and regulations of your chosen site. They STATE it very clearly. Them's tha
rules! Love 'em or Leave 'em.
Diverse talk? You've got to be kidding me. Not since it was sold. That place
is STRICTLY G-RATED, and only for the lemmings of the world. (not directed
at you, JMHO) I am very careful there, and try not to step on anyones toes
while expressing myself... Politics would be another word for it.
There ARE about 10 other forums now on the internet that can easily direct
you to information on your particular ski. IMHO Honda is about the only ski
brand without a strong alternative forum.
-SeaDoo folks are on GH or .net, or Sneaky petes.
-Yami folks are on GH, or Riva, Sneaky, or Hydro.
-Polaris is scattered on go-polaris, and hydro.
-Kawi is on Ultra150, Riva and I suspect with the new offerings on the GH
board soon.
-Standup guys are in a few pockets and really don't want to be bothered.
-The boyz and girlz down under have a strong, strong forum too!
-This is just the SURFACE of the depth of groups on the net. www.ijsba.com
did have a listing.
There are many, many choices out there. PWCYesterday, is just a gathering
ground, until you find out what real forums will help you the most.
Don't limit yourself, and sure as HELL don't think that rsj or pwc is the
end-all... they are just the end.
Also, there is a new Canadian Player in town. You will see a new
NON-BUSINESS directed site soon. I'm just hearing rumors now.
