I recently purchased my first boat. It has a rebuilt 230 omc with 0 hours in it. does anybody have any tips on breaking it in? Seeing as how I'm new too this I would apreciat any help you guys can give me.

How do I tell my wife - I just spent $1014 on marine ply for building a Tolman Skiff. YIKES, my other three boats cost very little so my wife was tolerant but I am not sure how she will react now.
