diesel fuel tanks - I have been told that you should not do it but Can anyone explain why you should not put diesel fuel in a fuel tank. What happens? Brian

Fuel and water tanks - How many boaters out there have had problems with leaking aluminums fuel or water tanks.I there shouldn't be any problems so long as the surface of the tank is kept away from moisture.

Sailboat fuel tanks - I am a new engine in my Morgan OI41. Since the main tank (mounted on the stbd side against the hull) was 30 years old I decided to replace it. Had to cut it out in 3 pieces which means that the has to be made into 3

plywood fuel tank - I am a 40 feet Nova Scotia lobster boat to go cruising in the ..I am thinkink of building plywood diesel fuel tanks ( of course covered with epoxy) Anybody having any with them..? Luc from MV/ Julie C

There has been a lot of problems with plastic and fiberglass gasoline tanks
because of ethanol as a required additive. Who knows if ethanol will be
added to diesel fuel? I think I'd make an aluminum tank and not worry about
future changes in fuels.
