Post subject: want to make pontoons

I am in the idea stage of making a pontoon boat. I am a chainsaw artist and this sis a project off the top of my head. Heres what I wanna do for the pontoons. I want to make two 21' foot styrofoam pontoons.Give the styrofoam the apropriate shape with my chainsaw.Cover the styrofoam with elmers glue to keep it from melting from fiberglass instalation. Then i want to cover the pontoons w/ thick fiberglass. While the fiber glass is wet i want to insert angle iron to attache decking to later. I will only go this far for now....will fiberglassed styrofoam work? that is my question.
