Post subject: Need help identifying kicker motor
Archived from groups: rec>boats (more info?)

I just got a small kicker for my boat, and would like some help
identifying it.

It is missing the top cowling, but the front says Sears on it. It has
Tecumseh on the flywheel and a tag on the intake with the #s 640-16
and 7095.
It is a single cylinder, 2 stroke.

Any help is appreciated.

Curly

What size kicker for a 18.5' PB ? - Folks, I finally got the old 1250 merc running :) However, since the motor is 30 years old I'd like to have a backup motor. So I thought about a 15 HP merc. The problem is that the transom is a little ... umm .. soft and I am worried the 15HP is too..
