uk.rec.boats.motor - The make over doesn't appear to have improved it. -- Martin

We go in salt water 2-3 times a week with our 15hp Johnson (1989)

Is it necessary to flush it each time we go out. The motor rarely sits to
dry out more than 4 days.

I wash when I can every time. If you have a flushing port that does not require you to run the engine get an adaptor, leave the hose setup so its there then you get home ready for a 10 minute flush.
I always have new engines, and they look so much better even after 5 years, than ones not flushed and washed down each time.
