Inflatable kayak for flatwater cruising - I would like to buy an kayak for flat water paddling. I am generally a novice in regards to paddling as I don't canoe or WW kayak for sport. But while a novice, I once did a white water canoe trip with Outward Bound as well as taken..

Olympic style flatwater kayak? - Guys, I'm kinda new to this group, could anyone point me to the direction I could get olympic style flatwater kayak in ( Canada ) ?

Flatwater Speed/Paddling Ease: WaveWitch vs The Average Ka.. - Got a WaveWitch on order. I guess the is getting to me. Anybody had a chance to paddle both a WW and a kayak (i.e. not a 19-foot Seda or a racing boat...) --

Can anyone recommend a flatwater canoeing destination in the Sierras
with no motor boats/no ATVs alowed? We liked Yosemite's Lake Eleanor
a
lot, now looking for something north, in the Tahoe/Truckee area. We
have a light canoe and can carry it up to a mile from the car.

I probably should not say this, but the reservoirs along highway 4
(near Bear Valley) are among the best meeting your criteria.

Guess what, this is exactly where we went. An owner of a kayak store
recommended Spicey reservoir, and it was great.
