old merc, controls - What are the proper ways to start a 70's merc? This would include the use of the electric choke, the manual choke perhaps, and the cold start lever??? (small lever at the control unit)
1996 Merc 20hp starting then stopping and wont restart?? - Our Merc 20 outboard is starting when cold and then stalling and then won't restart. It doesn't appear to be flooding just turns over and over. There is a spark in both cylinders. When it is warm it is fine only when it is left for a while does this..
