You seem to think that if we were not in the EU, the Chancellor would keep
marine diesel tax as low as it is now. I doubt it. There's a revenue
stream here, he's spotted it, and he will eventually increase the tax to
DERV levels, EU or no. It's a Labour government - taxing us is what they do
best.
