I have no idea why you are making some stupid claim that tinkertom and
I are the same person.

Whatever your beef is with him, I don't care but leave me out of it.

I see why so many new people are chased out of here.

I will take your apology to the Sees-ko Kid and to the newsgroup as
acceptable, and though I have not checked out your web site, I would
expect to see it edited to reflect your new understanding! Thank you
from all of us! TnT OvO HYY, & Sees-ko Kid, I am sure!

Now regarding what you say following your apology, I can only encourage
you to have patience with me. Following the initiation of my posting
here in 2004, I did return here the Fall of 2005, after a wonderful
Summer of boating and no posting, and attempted to restart my posting
career as RkyMtnHootOwl.

I did this first by identifying myself and who I had been, so that
there would be no mistake, or any deception on my part.I had only
posted a handful of times, and I learned quickly that did not work, as
I quickly received the wrath that had been intended for TnT.

So I continued my sabbatical from RBP, by primarily posting elsewhere,
and only occasionally posting here, and I would hardly call it
shouting. I would ask a few questions, or participate in an occasional
thread. I had completely dropped the TnT name in RBP, though I
continued to use it in some other groups where it was favorably
received. These other groups were not Google usenet, but Yahoo, and
Folbot user groups, since I continue to have my Folbot. Also I had a
Klepper Areus II, and a Hobie 16 for a year, and participated in groups
for those specialize boats, and the Watertribe.

During this time I posted primarily as RkyMtnHootOwl, and Hanto-Yo-Yo,
or OvO and HYY respectively. RkyMtnHootOwl, OvO was used for other
imterest that I have than boating, and Hanta-Yo-Yo was primarily used
in Ott.general, as I have been involved there partly as a result of my
Folbot. Occasionally I did return to RBP, and check up on what was
being discussed here, and often times, I did not choose to say anything
at all. Sometimes, and again only a handful, I did post, but only a
shadow of my former self, and certainly nothing that could be
considered shouting, disruptive, or in anyway trying to take control.
Sometimes I posted as a complete newbie, to ask my question, and fly
under your radar, and raise none of your old ire for TnT and OvO, and
eventually HYY!

I would probably have been satisfied to continue that pattern when I
recently chose to post here regarding the bike trailers, which I felt I
could make a contribution regarding, in that I have made a number of
different designs, and have learned some of the issues involved. I did
not feel that my input was excessively loud or disruptive. I did not
feel that I was trying to control the group. That I posted as TnT, was
more of an accident, in that I was signed on as TnT because of some of
my other groups activity at the time. I can understand that seeing the
TnT nym lit your short fuse, and caused you to go off on me due to the
previous history from long ago!

Then once you went off, and I checked your website, and saw the
reference to the Sees-ko Kid, I thought that was not right and fair.
Your apology accepted, though, and I hope that with my explanation, you
can know that you can look for a change in my posts! I assure you that
a lot of by gones, are, well gone! I realize that you will believe it
when you see it, and I am aware that what you have seen recently may
not lead you to believe me for what I am saying. Now I am not saying
that TnT is now some sort of web wimp, as again was recently
demonstrated here! However, I am not inclined to start fights, and am
just as likely to ignore and walk away from most. And yet know that I
will also vigorously defend the group, and individuals who are being
wronged as I felt I needed to do with the Sees-ko Kid.

I never did get with whats his name in Boulder, nor feel any
inclination to do so. Mostly I plan to spend this Summer sailing my
Folbot on the local water. I realize that this is not so much a
sailing forum as a paddle forum, but I also paddle the Folbot, so I
figure I qualify to post here. Now I know that I will never have the
credentials that you hard core paddlers have here, and so I know that I
have much that I can learn from you. I certainly do not desire to get
cut off from you as a resourse. In light of this, I find that most of
the threads I do not participate in such as the current one regarding
"feathered paddles", of which I know absolutely nothing. So I
completely reframe from any comment, and just observe!

I also remember the days of discussing politics and religion, primarily
with Kman, and have learned that did not work or prosper the group
either, and have learned to take that discussion elsewhere. If your
are interested in participating, LOL, feel free to join us in
Ott.General, where I plan on keeping that discussion thread. Otherwise
I will be glad to hear from you here, and as Oci offered to answer my
honest question, I promise to try to keep them "honest" ! Feel free to
ask me any honest question as well, and I will extend to you the same
respect!

I apologize to the group for my previous behavior and for grinding on
your hosbitality, and hope for a change in the winds of time! As a
sailor, I try to learn to watch the wind, and adjust the sails! TnT
OvO HYY

Thank you. I also apologize for getting so bent out of shape.

I know all about flame wars and sockpuppets but I assure you I am no
one else than some guy from Pennsylvania who loves to spend time on the
water, mostly fishing.

I figured as much, I just didn't understand why I was thought to be him
when my ISP shows that I post from Verizon in PA (does vary due to web
traffic).

I've seen it many times in other groups and know what you are talking
about.
I don't know the whole history of this poster and what has happened in
this particular case so I will not get involved beyond what I have
posted already.
