HI all

wanna say thanks for all the help in past

hers another issue

I have a 1996 Polaris SLT
700 cc engine

we pulled the flame arrester off, and on the choke plate and throttle
play was this white milky substance.

It resembled what motor oil and water looks like when it mixes.

Have no idea where it came from. Gumout got rid of most of it

Any idea where it is and where it came from?

Is there any thing that I can put in a 2 stroke fuel tank to really
clean out the carbs?

THanks
Mark

Typically,
the polaris gets a little bit of this stuff, because it has such an open air
element. That is a mixture of twostroke oil, gas, and water. It coats the
inside of the arrester pretty good.

If you have that in ANY volume, then I'd say you have water spraying at your
carbs. Is the little plastic cover over the driveshaft coupler in place? The
coupler is notorious for kicking up water toward the carbs. Also the heads
are o-ringed. If the o-rings are getting old, you can take the seat off and
see water droplets coming out the side of the head.
