Webasto Airtop Heater Operation

Can anyone please help me, I have purchased a boat with a webasto airtop
heater on. The heater controls consist of a rheostat and I presume a
cold/hot blow switch.

Can anyone tell me the correct method to start the system to blow hot air.
If i start the system on blow hot it does not start but when started on blow
cold for a few mins and then swithced over it will then blow hot.

sorry but i dont have an operation manual and keen to start it correctly, am
I doing it correctly.
