Archived from groups: rec>sport>jetski (more info?)

As a newbee looking to possibly by a jetski within the next few weeks, any
suggestions on what to buy second hand? I am a big guy (17 stone) and would
like to tow a donut or banana behind ( not for eatin' or anythin' !)

Also, with many places "cracking down"on launching and using seadoo style
jetskis where are some of the best places to launch and ride a jetski in the
UK and what are the launch fees and good / bad points of the areas?

James

Big Jim is 272 pounds, for you Yanks. (Hmmm... why is our unit of weight
the 'pound?' anyway?) To tow, you'll most likely need a three seater: one
seat for the driver, one for the spotter, and one reserved for the one
person
you can legally tow. But at your size, I'm thinking a four seater, e.g.
then
Yamaha SUV.
