Greetings,

I have been having trouble for a long time with a 1995 900zxi.

Above 1/4 throttle I lose the third cylinder except for an occasional
sputter.

I just fully rebuilt the carbs with SBT kits and the pop-off pressures
are good and equal.

I have swapped out the entire electrical system except for the stator
assembly with parts from a known-good machine, the symptoms remain the
same. New plugs and caps make no difference.

I would be more than happy to pay someone to fix it, but the only
local shop could not figure it out. I am forced to go at it on my own.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am running out of
ideas and getting frustrated with it.

Thank you in advance!

Go on over to PWCtoday.com and unleash your problem on their Kawasaki forum.
I'll bet you get an answer pretty quick.
Wish I could help, but my ski is a '96 Yamaha raider 1100 and don't know
much about Kawas. Good luck, -ron
