This storm reminds me of one of the same in 1972 that went to western
NY and dumped and dumped rain, causing major flooding and damage.
Whole towns were just deluged...

Very cool!! Yosemite is nice, but crowded. Make SURE you get to Tioga
Pass, then go around to Bodie, a ghost town with a colorful past:

http://www.parks.ca.gov/mediagallery/?page_id=509

And don't forget to do a lot of B/W photography, ala Ansel Adams!

Yes, yes, yes, and you didn't invite me. It sounds like a blast of a trip!

Jealous is me.

Very cool! Bodie is awesome, make sure you read up on the history of
the place first, it makes it an almost surreal experience if you've
studied the history first! Tuolumne Meadows is a neat place, too. I've
camped there and the sunrises were unbelievable.

All you need is a plane ticket and you are there. I understand the
workshop is open to everyone except Olympus users. Wink

I decided it was time to reread
http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d200/users-guide/d200-users-guide.pdf

If you haven't read this before it is a user friendly version of the
owners manual.

following well considered thoughts to the readers of rec.boats:

|Looks like it's going to curve West after moving up the Florida

|That might help Lanier out a little.

I'm a little more concerned about the potential for Invest 94, now....
Fay looks less and less like a threat for everyone....

I will be taking a workshop at Bodie, where we will have access during
dawn and sunset hours, when they are normally closed. Their regular
hours are 8 am - 5 pm, not the best time for photography. We will also
a sunrise session at Mono Lake, photograph sunrise and sunset over the
Sierra, June Lake, Twin Lakes, Lundy Lake. and Lee Vining Canyon,

I have a infrared filter which does a great job with B/W photography,
but with CS3 it is very easy to convert all photos to B/W, especially if
you shot in RAW.

It could hook out back into the Gulf - unlikely though.

From a historical perspective, it seems to be following the same track
as a storm in 1911.

As long as it dumps some water in Falls Lake and on my lawn. But not today.
Gotta go enjoy my retirement on the golf course!
