I guess this had to happen to someone else. I have 98 XPL and the bearing on
the drive shaft seized. Well that's no big deal but it busted the part in
the hull that the hose clamps on to. Anyhow went and looked in the parts
manual and there is no part # for it.
Any ideas anyone?
A little grease would of saved a big head ache

Kevin,
It is item #3 on this fiche
<a rel="nofollow" style='text-decoration: none;' href="http://216.37.204.202/Seadoo_OEM/Seadoo_PWC.asp?Type=13&A=70&B=11" target="_blank">http://216.37.204.202/Seadoo_OEM/Seadoo_PWC.asp?Type=13&A=70&B=11</a>
You have to cut out the old tunnel section with an air grinder and epoxy
the new part in. MarineTex is a good epoxy to use.

SeaDoo sells a bronze repair part for this. You cut the fiberglass piece off
with a hacksaw and Epoxy in the bronze piece. This type of failure was common
on SeaDoos early boats that had the seal carrier with the bearings. I have
purchased this piece from Beesleys Point SeaDoo in New Jersey. I'm sure they
can help you out with either a part number or by shipping you the part. Speak
to Tom Innocente.. (609) 390-1113
