I have a Necky Zoar LV and the cover (neoprene?) for the small hatch seems to
have shrunk. It takes 2 seconds to put the front one on and 60 seconds for the
small one. Any way to put some stretch into it other than just leaving it on for
a long period?

Just leave it in place. Any stretching method more Draconian than that
is likely to damage the cover.

Kayak Storage Outdoors Through The Winter? - Had been storing my surf ski in the back yard all year long - rolled up in some Astroturf-type outdoor carpeting. After about five years, the fiberglass tape covering the deck/hull seam started delaminating and had to be replaced. Other than that, I..

Source For Square Buckets for Canoe Storage Needed - When I canoe I store lots of food in five gallon plastic buckets. They are inexpensive, work well and keep things pretty dry. Unfortunately they are usually round and it'd be a lot better use of space if I could locate some square buckets. I used...
