Anyone built one of these? I'm designing and making a half-scale
version for my grandson - when he learns to swim he'll get to sail,
too!

Yep - I've built one and sailed for a few seasons now - I have more
information on my website. I really don't recommend scaling it down though,
you'll end up with a tippy, unusable boat. For a small child, you may want
to consider a more standard skiff or a pram like the Optimist (or the free
plans pram D4)

Stevenson Projects - Does anyone know if they're still in operation?? I sent an email six weeks ago and got no response. The website is still active, but the phone numbers are all crossed through. Stuart Nottingham

Stevenson Projects Micro-Cup - Has anybody built this boat? Do you reccomend any changes. Considering the age of the plans, are there any materials other than 1/4" ply that would be lighter? I am interested in building two for my kids.

MiniCup - Took one of the MiniCups out on Lake Hall yesterday (Tallahassee, FL) and had a nice sail. Sewn polytarp sail works very well. I have to use my dolly to carry her about 350' down a hill ot the water and the new dolly works very well. My dolly is based...
