On the Kawasaki, the carb(s) will need to be rebuilt or cleaned. The
jets are clogged. On the Yamaha, if the starter is turning but not
engaging the engine, then the starter bendix is bad or rusted. You
will need to pull the front cover of the engine off, take off the
flywheel bolt, remove the flywheel with a puller, and then remove the
bendix.
