Going to upgrade my 12' Smokercraft to a 14'. I see Lund, Smokercraft,
Crestliner and others are offering split seats. What are the advantages
of split seats and are there are disadvantages?

Most important how do they affect (downrigger placement, etc.) the
fishing?
