Well, it is certainly getting much better here in the news group now
that most have decided to let the trolls, well, troll... In the
interest of keeping this thread on topic I should mention that I
counted 18 on topic posts to only 7 off topic posts this morning. How
does this relate to boating, easy... the ideal ratio for the length of
a general rowboat oar is 7-18, so this is a post about oars, see
webpage below:

Well, the number just struk me, Scotty

Well, we got 11 out of 25 now that folks are answering Harry again, I
think he has 8 out of the 11. Still, if you all just stipulate that
Harry is a political shill, not interested in honest debate, and
ignore him, the group is again a boat group. It would not be all that
hard, you saw how it was with Harry gone for a week, you don't have to
let him come back and step back in again, you just don't have to at
all...

The old pot/kettle/black routine. If you self rightous f**ks would
stfu it would greatly improve the noise ratio. You idiots think
comming in with your nananana BS helps in any way? Grow the FU.

This is the perfect example. This guy is and has always been a liberal
shill here on the group. He would love to start a fight here. Even
sensible responses to his nonsence would only stir more foul language
and further attempts to drag me into a fight.
When I don't respond, he or one of the other sock puppets will attack
on another front.
Again, if we could just all take BB, Harry, et al. for what they are
and not respond to what is obviously nothing but a troll, the group
could be mostly boats again within a day or two.

Sort of on topic - book recommendation - Last week, a friend gave me his copy of "Sea of Glory" by Nathaniel Philbrick and I've read it in about a week - great book. It's one of those "I'll read a couple more pages" kind of books. It's a retelling of the United Stated Expl...

??? about breathing under a boat - I'd like to clean the bottom of my boat, while it's in the water. Is there a fairly easy and economical way of breathing while a few feet below the surface? A snorkle won't work because I'll be going under a houseboat, but am wondering if a hose could be...

My balls are an u-boat - Yes, they are so large, that I can enter them and explore the underwater world. I just have to blow into my willy, detach my balls and enter them. Isnīt that fantastic?

Boat grins - Will the Coast Guard be used to guard the canals on Mars? Oh Dear, I have that sinking feeling. If it flys or floats its cheaper to rent it. Since oil floats, and my engine leaks, I hearby declare my boat unsinkable. Most marine engines run well on..

why 2 batteries on boat? - I recently purchased a new (used) boat. It has a 350 merc and uses 2 batteries. I think 1 is a starting battery and the other is a deep cycle w/ cranking amps. There is a switch for the batteries to select #1, #2, or both. No manual. I am not familia...
