Post subject: Snake rafting trips 1/2 or 1 day
Archived from groups: rec>boats>paddle (more info?)

We're planning a trip to NE Oregon at the end of August and need tips
on where to find outfitters for a 1/2 or 1 day raft trip on the
Snake. We're circling from La Grande, so coming down from Wallowa
Lake, it looks like there's a town called Homestead on the Snake
nearby, maybe others?

Just looking for tips... have spent quite a while in Google and all we
can turn up is camping trips for several days and hundreds of dollars
which is not exactly what we're after; we need a river ride for part
of /most of a day and then we move on to our other destinations on the
trip.
