My Seadoo has developed a fault on start up. The usual beeps are not there
when the lanyard is inserted. But one press of the ignition then turns on
the bilge and fuel gauge and possibly other bits I can't hear or see. Then
it takes a bit of fiddling with the lanyard before it beeps to start.
Pressing ignition cranks it and it starts Ok but sometimes the electrics cut
out whilst cranking or just after starting.

Agent says coding is OK but warns it will be expensive if he is to correct
it - because he can't find fault unless I tow it to him 100 miles away. Has
anyone had this fault.
