I'll be looking for a very good/excellent condition Sandpiper 565
'creampuff' with a good outboard next month.
I'd prefer a mid '80s model. A galvanized trailer would be great but not
overly important. If I can find the right boat, I'd pony up and buy a new
galvanized trailer with surge ss disc brakes.

If anyone knows of a 'Piper for sale that matches above description pls
advise.

Don: I have a 1979 Sandpiper 565 in excellent condition with a very nice
trailer (painted to match the boat), excellent sails, and cushions that
look like new. It is located in Michigan. Please contact me if you would
like more information. Thanks.

Thanks Terry.....
The distance to you and the hassle of bringing a boat/trailer across the
border may be more than I have time for.
I will keep you in mind as I checkout Quebec & eastern Ontario.

Don: The hassle part should not be too bad, as I just sold one of my other
boats to a person from Ontario. The paperwork part seemed to go smoothly.
If you don't find anything closer, let me know (preferably by e-mailing
me directly at mtjablonski DeleteThis @wowway.com). Having owned many sailboats in my
30 years of sailing, this one has really nice gelcoat and the interior
cushions look almost like new. I agree that a galvanized trailer is
better than a painted one, but this one is in great shape and with minor
maintenance should stay that way. Again, let me know and can send you an
equipment list and some pictures.
