Somerset Sails in NY is offering some of the best prices for new and
used sails around, beating even the online sail importers while
maintaining great quality. I can give you a quote for tri-radial,
cross-cut, chutes of every type and specializing in cruise radial
designs....and just about any sail for any boat with a price that will
make you more than happy.

Contact me for a quote and see the website at Somersetsails.com.

My Kevlar main from Somerset:

This sail cost less than a standard crosscut dacron from North or UK
sails!

Happy Sails!

Dave, what exactly are you trying to do? Now you're attacking a sail
loft you have no business with? There is no negative info on the loft
and I'm not a vender.
Attacking someone's business just to troll is really not something you
should be doing. Return to ASA where you belong.

Yes, Dave is correct, please do a search on Google. They have all
positive reviews, not only in the USA, but also in Canada. You can
visit the site or just do a search! I can also put prospective buyers
in touch with current owners as they wish.

Thanks again,

Robert

Hey, I'd characterize what others say about the loft not as an attack,
but
as a decidedly mixed review.>>>

Let's see some links to the mixed reviews.

<<< I might even be inclined to contact them if my
local sail maker's quote on my next sail seems too high>>>

And you'd pay about 15% more by going around me. Why not give it a try?

<<<Fair is fair. You spam several groups and conceal your interest in
the deal
and you expect to keep it a deep dark secret? Doesn't work that way.
>>>

Actually it works fine that way. I've already thrown them 9 jobs, Dave.
Not too shabby. And I was honest in reporting that I get deals on sails
for it. So why are you attacking Somerset and UK? Yep, UK is affiliated
with them. They cut some of their sails. They don't make a
non-triradial kevlar either, Dave, so you've pretty much cooked your
own goose with that story. Oh, but I CAN find negative reviews for
UK...they're a big outfit.
As for those deals? I'll let you know after Xmas what I got out of it.
The only person you've discredited is yourself. And if you hurt anyone
at all with these trolls, it was sailmakers that have nothing at all to
do with you. Nice work.
If you want to chase me around the internet and take shots at me, knock
yourself out. But it's really bad form to attack another company over
it.
Oh, and I'm off ASA for good. Several others are leaving now as well.
It may survive, but it will be dull.

Searched archives and found no posts for Somerset. Not only that they
make no cross cut kevlar sails. Hmmmm. Seems to be a problem with the
story.

Dave...read carefully: Somerset does not sell a cross cut kevlar. And
only a total nut would even try to order one. I have the database on
the kevlar inventory and there is not option for crosscut.
Kinda hard to buy into anything you've written after that.

Cheers,

R.

Any
discussion one way or the other about cross cut kevlar says nothing
about my
credibility,>>>

I can't find the message you posted. As far as your credibility....

1) You seem to know very little about sails as Kevlar is usually cruise
or tri-radial, not cross-cut. Assuming that message exists somewhere, a
bell should have gone off in your head when you read it. Cross cut
Kevlar racing sail??? Oh boy.
2) You posted a single message with some joker having a problem (with a
cross-cut Kevlar "racing sail" of all things). I can find many more
about major lofts. Does that make them bad lofts? So your post is
really of no value at all.
3) Your credibility is further made into slush since you have no motive
to post here outside of your personal problems with me. You have no
actual experience with the loft in question, while I have 3 sails from
them. Doyle thinks they're very nice.

So far, with 10 orders and counting, your "credibility" is less than
zero. You should see what these people are saying about you. You have
no credibility. You sound like a very angry child...and I know why. At
your advancing years and loss of wealth I'd expect you'd have learned a
thing or two, but some dogs never learn a single trick.

Buh-bye, Dave. You can have the last word. I have to write up 3 sail
quotes now and then I'm going sailing tomorrow if the rain is light
enough for Thomas.
