Hi,
does anybody sail a 49er alone? Would you recommend it? Is it hard to
recover after a capsize? I sail in on a lake with very weak winds. I
want action and speed Wink

I'll have to decide between a Musto Skiff or a 49er and my crew is
not always available.

Best,
Chris

Consider---at least for a moment or two---an A-cat with spinnaker:

Apart fram that I can only add I know Julian Bethwaite has
singlehanded a 49er. I don't know if he had to right it.

I did consider - but we don't have the space (A-cat is too wide).
(nice video, thanks)

I know Smile

Håkan brought his equipment to my boat last fall (you don't have
to consider my boat even for a moment as it is as wide as an A-cat
is long): http://hem.bredband.net/b262106/Boat/video.html
