Don,
That player wouldn't play the QuickTime file. I found one that would and
you might want to take a look. It's called VLC media player. I'm sorry I
forgot to copy the link, but you should be able to Google it up easily.

Oh.
JustWait doesn't build stitch-and-glue dinghies and rowboats.

The big family holiday around here is Thanksgiving. At Christmas time,
since none of the grandchildren are or are likely to be in body casts,
comas, or wheelchairs from motorcycle accidents,, they usually end up in
in some warmer clime. >> Stay informed about: Rejected at the other place..;) Boating post... |

I've never heard him discuss his grandkids, if he has any, other than
talking about the A's on their report cards, if they get any.
He'd much rather put down the joy others take in their grandkids.

Why do you assume that could happen. Wood, for example, or plywood,
would break off at the glue line. Not to mention foam. Duh.

I can see it now - gathering around the fire while Grandpa Harry reads
the traditional Christmas story:
'T'was the night before Winter Festival and all through the middle
class home being forced into foreclosure due to inept Bush
Administration handling of the financial crisis causing the greatest
recession since the Great Depression.
Not a creature was stirring, not even the evil Rethuglican mice who
are controlled by the Bush/Cheney/Big Oil cabal.
The threadbare stockings with holes in the toes were hung by the
chimney with care because the electricity was cut off due to high oil
prices forced on the public by Exxon/Mobil.
In hopes that the Obamessiah soon would be there...

I can play mov files in Gom. There are two possible explanations. It may
be that the mov codec is left over from "when" I had QT installed. Or, Gom
went out and found a mov codec the first time I played a clip requiring it.
I've been using Gom for some time and cannot remember the details.
Thanks for the tip on VLC, I'll give it a look see. >> Stay informed about: Rejected at the other place..;) Boating post... |

What kind of wood composite construction? Plywood? Wood over aluminum
frames as used for minesweepers? Fiberglass over plywood over wood
frames as done by the neighbors in the fifties? What do you mean by
modern? Or composite? Wood planks and nails are composite, compared to
a dugout,

Mystery solved. His filter DID find the word "liar" in your text. I

used two times... >> Stay informed about: Rejected at the other place..;) Boating post... |
