Red Diesel Petition

Many readers of this group will not know me, so ill introduce myself.
Most people around the country know me as 'Stokie', after our
narrowboat named Stokie, from which i supply red diesel to cruisers,
like my Broom, from our moorings at Sharpness Marina in
Gloucestershire.
As most boaters know, we all expect to lose red diesel in Jan 2007.
I have been petitioning all summer long, collecting from my customers
as they buy diesel. NOW HAVING OVER 500 NAMES, i have been offered the
help of a local MP, he sees no reason why we should lose red. So, as a
result of his offer of help, i have arranged a boaters meeting with him
on 29th October 05 at Sharpness Dockers Club. This is not to be a
confrontational meet, as he is already on our side, but it is to
demonstrate to him what damage the loss of Red will do to our industry.

If you, your friends or anyone interested in coming then please do so.
Remember 1930 hrs on Sat 29th October 05. Sharpness.
If you wish a meal and a drink in the club, then the steward will
welcome your cash. Come and show me and David Drew mp, that we need to
keep Red Diesel.

Being as i use a PDA device for e mailing i cannot send and receive
attachments.
Very often too, its hard for me to read coments on news groups.
But e mails to me are no problem.
