Post subject: Quiet Water Symposium, East Lansing Michigan

The 9th annual Quiet Water Symposium will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2004
at the Pavilion for Agriculture and natural Resources on the Michigan State
University campus. Speakers this year will be Gary & Joanie McGuffin, Cliff
Jacobson, and Dick Person. On display will be hand built and restored canoes
and kayaks. There will be outfitters and environmental organizations in
attendance. Demonstrations will include re-canvassing a canoe and winter
canoe camping skills.
