I have never heard of that one. The only recalls I am familiar with for
the older models is the steering cable plate and the fuel filler
cracking. It is known, at least it will be now, that the 780 is not the
best towing application due to it's powerband. The 780 doesn't like to
run in the 3500 to 4000 rpm range that is ideal for towing. That is a
transition stage for the powerband. The 750 doesn't have this and
neither do any of the domestic engines. It's similar to an exhaust
valved pwc when you are in the transition of the valves opening in a
similar rpm range. On the 780, it is attributed to the porting specs and
set up. It won't cause any porblems mechanically but it's just not the
ideal towing model.
