My paddle is sticking and is hard to get apart it has a fiberglass
shaft any suggestions on how to fix this problem.

Assuming that you're using it in salt water, make sure you rinse both
halves of the connection carefully after every use to remove any salt
residue. If it's got sand embedded in it, clean it with a Scotchbrite pad.
