Basically brand new (still in box) Magneta brand two place kayak trailer (Model UKCT2). Includes 12" inch high speed highway tire option and one pair (one boat) of Magneta Rollers and one pair (one boat) of Magneta Saddles. The modular nature of the trailer allows it to be easily converted for other uses via complete line of optional and inexpensive Magneta accessories - for canoes, uprights for 4-6 additional boats, bicycles, motorcycles, 4-wheelers, lawnmowers, etc. Cost over $750 new. Will sell trailer and all options above for $600. Kayak or Canoe - My wife (58) and I (61) live in Florida near the ocean and all of the other water in the State. We bicycle a lot so we are reasonably fit. We are considering getting into the water a little with a canoe or kayak. We don't anticipate any ocean paddling....

Canoe and kayak safety - I am new to the sport and wondered if any of you knew of any way that I could make my boat safer. I was thinking of attaching some kind of hard shelled extra floation on each side, so that I might not flip over so much. Any guidance?
