Too bad CHS isn't as user friendly as NOAA. Here is an excellent site
from which you can navigate to view up-to-date charts, and even
Pilots. The charts are not very good for printing, but are easily
navigable and can be zoomed in and out. A fun tool, and useful for
planning and/or deciding which charts to buy.
Below the URL is a quote from the site.
Anybody from CHS reading this forum? If not, there should be. Is such
a service foreseeable for us?

The nautical chart is a fundamental tool of marine navigation. It
shows water depths, obstructions, aids to navigation, channels,
shoreline, and more - hopefully all the information mariners need to
navigate safely.
NOAA's 1,000-plus U.S. coastal and Great Lakes nautical charts are
viewable here on-line. Each chart is up-to-date with the most recent
Notices to Mariners. Use these on-line charts as a ready reference or
planning tool. Use one of NOAA's printed or digital charts on your
voyage.
