Hi All,

New to the list and have read everything since 2006 on the subject. Most
seems to cover mfg in US as oposed to homebuilt.

I'm looking at a 20' sailboat with 15hp and a trailer. Any advice
appreciated.

http://boating.ncf.ca/buy-usa.html has all the reports sent to me from
boaters who have imported a boat and/or trailer from the U.S. Anyone
with new information to add can send it to me (please use the website
feedback form). The page is to help people with 'real-life'
experiences. I get many requests for information about the customs - I
provide a government directory for people who need answers about
government regulations.
