Once again the resort of Agios Nikolaos in Crete has been granted the
honour of hosting the prestigious IMS-600 World Championship. Inspired
by the success of last years event, the local authorities and the
marina management company of K&G Med marinas, are anticipating another
spectacular week of racing , entertainment and glory as teams from
around the world compete in this classic event.

The town, already an established venue for visiting yachtsmen, has
improved the facilities at the marina and is planning further
additions such as wireless internet access and a sauna. Accommodation
is available in all price ranges for competitors and spectators,
including apartments overlooking the marina itself,
fromwww.mantraki.4t.com, www.simplycreteholidays.co.uk and general
information regarding the event can be found on www.nearchosweek.com
