I have a 1985 Hunter 40 (On City Island in NY) available. The boat was launched
in 1986 and then put on the hard in 1991 and never sailed again! She has
basically sat unused high and dry for nearly 14 years! The boat is a project,
but her deck, rig and sails appear to be fine. She's not a wreck in any
respect. Her interior looks good as does her glass and topsides, Her engine
appears to be siezed, and will require replacement or repair. She has roler
furling, solid vang and so on. Her floors will need refinishing, but are sound.
She has a autopilot and basic electronics, but it needs updating I expect. All
of the cushions are there. Some will need cleaning, no big deal. There appears
to be no deck leaks or other structural problems and she should clean up very
nicely. I doubt that, beyond the engine, it will take too much to get this boat
back into action again. She certainly has liveaboard capability. This is a
project for someone who knows what they are doing, but you can certainly have a
lot of boat for the buck.
The price is 33K. I will be creating a website for her, but wanted to give an
early heads-up in case someone wanted to see her now. I'm looking for a serious
buyer and I welcome surveys of course.

Contact me at BOBSPRIT.RemoveThis@AOL.COM if you're interested in this deal.

33k???? How come when I asked you about this boat you told me it wasn't worth 10K?
