I am thinking of buying a Honda 90 for my boat. Does anyone have any
good/bad advise about these engines?

Why would you want bad advice?

Seriously, the only potentially "bad" thing I would be sure of before
investing in that motor can be avoided by getting a good understanding of
the weight difference between that motor and your old one and how the number
relates to your boat.

Assuming you are replacing a 2 stroke, the 4 stroke Honda -may- be somewhat
heavier. That may not make any difference to your rig, but it's worth
looking into.

Luckily it wasn't the case for me though, my Honda 50hp was actually several
pounds lighter than the '96 Evinrude 50 it replaced. On my little boat that
was critical. Interestingly, all competing 4 stroke motors were
significantly heavier.
