This refrigeration compressor was just removed from my boat to install a
12V system in preparation for a circumnavigation. The unit was working
perfectly when it was removed. We have used it throughout the Caribbean
without any problems. It was origonally installed in 1997 but the
compressor was replaced in October of 2001 when it was incorrectly
diagnosed as haing a problem, thus the compressor is only 1.5 years old.
The unit is air cooled and can be optionally water cooled. It uses R404A
or R134A and is rated at 1750 BTU.
Note that if you bid and win this item you must be ready to complete the
transaction on June 28th as we will be pulling out and headed to Guatemala
on the 29th. I will ship the compressor to you as soon as payment is made.
