Is there a formula to work out the approx weight of a 13" (3.96m) GRP runabout?
I need to calculate the weight on the trailer for towing purposes.
The calculation needn't include motor, fittings seats, fuel tank etc.
Any help appreciated.
cheers

Apologies if you already know but have taken it in to account elsewhere,
but the calculation DOES need to know about the motor, fittings, fuel
tank and indeed luggage usually carried.
Anyway, for info, I had a 13'6" speedboat once that weighed just under
500kgs on the trailer with all it's accessories.

thanks Nick, that gives me a pretty good idea - it just fits under the
max towable weight for a 2litre car (unbraked trailer)

thanks for the formula Paul - I can work it out from there.

I thought you might have had lighter water in the northern
hemisphere as my boat came out at 4lb 3oz .... haha
cheers
