Hi all

Does French shorepower use the same plug & socket as in the UK or do I need
an adaptor of some sort? I am specifically interested in Dieppe at present.

Most French marinas use the standard 16Amp 3pin round "caravan" type plug as
seen in the UK.

However some older ones may still have the standard French household
plug.(looks like 2 pin)

And in one area in the south "landouc rouissilion" a very weird plug is
still found.

Travel with the UK 16Amp Caravan style plug and make an adaptor for the
French household type and you will not go far wrong.

French Canal Airdraft - Some years ago, I had a few weeks on the French canals from Calais up to Paris, then back down the Seine to Le Harve, in a small yacht - I took the mast down of course! I'm now thinking about having a bit longer there, and putting a motorboat somewhere....
