Archived from groups: umich>forsale, others (more info?)

It is looking more like I am going to have to move, and I don't want
to have to haul my canoe across country if I can help it. I have an
18' Sawyer 'Cruiser' model fiberglass (epoxy/kevlar) canoe forsale.

It is still in great condition with only a few small scratches on the
bottom from various portages. It does have a few (4) small spots at
the front (that are not structural problems) where apparently bubbles
formed under the outer paint layer. (I am more than happy to fix
these for any buyer as I have experience with fiberglass repair but I
have left them thus far as is so anyone may inspect them to see they
are merely cosmetic production flaws)

It has two molded seats and three center cross bars. I have also
mounted a anchor pully assembly on the rear. I will be happy to
include two standard paddles and the anchor if interested. I can even
toss in a bleach stained life vest if someone needs one.

The original list price of this boat was over $1200. I need to start
getting rid of my bulky items prior to a move so I will consider $550
or make me an offer. The canoe is currently located in Ann Arbor and
I will deliver it up to 300 miles away for the cost of gas.

and the paint chips are now fixed. I also have photos available:

Yer tearin' me up- I would love to drive up there, pick it up. your
price is more than fair. But we bought 3 boats in the past couple
months, and besides we already have a 18.5 tripper.

But I love a good deal!

oh well. Someone will getr a nice boat.

--- I do not know the person selling this boat. Opinions are my own,
not those of my wife. This time. ---
