Hi,all
I have a question, I own a 1985 120 V4Evinrude outboard and need a new
gearbox/leg and have the opportunity to buy a 1977 140 V4 Evinrude gearbox.
My question is does the 77 models fit the 85 models or could someone direct
me to where can I get this information would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

This is a question I can't answer: what I CAN say is that choosing a
leg that looks "about right" is a good way to gather useless legs.

Thanks Brian for your reply, I feel the same way, good if you're a collector
tho.
The 85 Model 120/140 Evinrude seems to be an odd motor, or the start of a
new series that went nowhere.
