Bottom Paint - I just heard that a local guy mixes jalapeno powder and Roundup(tm) in his bottom paint to prevent growth. He swears by it. I thought this was a good one. Tailgunner
New Bottom Paint - HI, I will be hauling out my big wood boat with fiberglass skin to scrape and repaint bottom. Anybody have favorites or ideas/opinions? thanks marshall
Copper bottom - How about we make a lightweight copper hull shell, them resin the inside with glass, etc. to make a boat that never requires antifoul? If it was copper welded, it might need only very thin copper foil and the cost played against other maintenance and.. |
