Post subject: New Deka Battery...
Archived from groups: rec>sport>jetski (more info?)

I was curious about whether it was indeed charging so I checked it tonight,
because I have had the regulator replaced under warranty for not charging,
but when that problem was accurring I kept getting an alarm from the
machine. So anyway my voltages are good, I think. I'm getting 13.4v at
idle and then up to 13.7v at 2000 rpm.. It starts up fine in the driveway,
the problem is I do very little jet-skiing in the driveway. I think when
it's in the water there is a little extra load on the starter trying to turn
the prop, but it does turn over fine in air.
