hi.
Does anybody know how to delete a message.
I wrote att message but somebody destoyed the diskussion.
How can I delete my first message.
Is it possible?

Did you try to select it, do a right click, and hit 'delete'?

If you have Agent, I think you can select 'Post', 'Cancel Usenet Message', of
course you must select your message first. I've never tried it, but it looks
like it might work.

This will only work if the message hasn't propogated to any other news
server than it was posted to.

That makes sense. That would mean a person would have to be really quick to post
a message and then delete it, right? (Unless their server was veerrrry slow?)

Due to forged cancellations, many sysadmins will not allow cancellations.
Most will allow a Supersedes. There is a Cancel Faq is you are interested.

Very true.

Once a message propagates, most other news servers do not honor cancel messages
because they have encountered problems with bogus ones from trolls and the
like.
